This role requires a solid understanding of how organization capabilities interrelate across department(s). You will solve for the technology challenges around delivering omni-channel experiences and next generation AI/ML driven recommendation engines helping our members achieve their best health by delivering personalized, simplified, whole-person healthcare experiences.Responsibilities include, but not limited to:Influence the organization and work independently with senior business and Information Technology leaders and executives while acting as a mentor and role model.Advise multiple areas; make recommendations to senior executives on matters of significance.Provide strategic advice and guidance to segment and enterprise platform teams.Lead a team of highly specialized Solution Architects, Cloud Architects, and DevOps experts.Consult with cross department teams to build digital, omni-channel experiences following MACH (Microservices, API First, Cloud Native and Headless) architectural pattern.Build highly scalable, secure microservices in a cloud agnostic wayProvide thought leadership to challenge/influence all levels across the organization to rethink routine, embrace cloud and modern engineering practices including agile adoption to provide highly resilient integrated experiences.Create and maintain documentation of all architecture design and analysis work.Contribute to the creation of governing principles to guide Omni-Channel and Digital Experience decision making.Skills and knowledge must span multiple architecture domains (e.g., Business Architecture, Application/Solution Architecture, Technical/Infrastructure Architecture & Information/Data Architecture) to ensure balanced full stack engineering solutions.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field10+ years of IT experience8+ years of progressive information technology experience directly related to architecture/engineering, information security, or other specialized technology field3+ years of experience building world class digital experiences (across web & mobile; including front-end development, back-end development, integrations, network and hosting management, user experience, and back-end server management.)3+ years of people management experience, leading by engagement, empowerment, continuous feedback, and coachingStrong expertise in building omni-channel experiences following MACH (Microservices, API First, Cloud Native and Headless) architectural pattern.Demonstrated experience in hands-on software development and solution architectureHands-on experience in a public Cloud environment or Cloud transformationDemonstrated success in a matrix-managed, cross-functional, and collaborative organizationPrior experience managing large multi-technology teams and being responsible for the execution KPIs, OKRs and timelinesPassionate about both healthcare and enterprise architecture practicesKnowledge of the quality-centric culture and principlesAbility to communicate to both very technical audiences as well as presenting complex technical designs to senior leadershipPreferred QualificationsMaster's degree in IT-relevant disciplineHighly preferred any Cloud specialist certificationFamiliar with application and workload dependencies, architecture, and service level requirementsUnderstanding of project and program management standards and methodsExperience with Adobe Experience Platform (AEM, AJO, CJA, RT CDP) or similar tech stackData engineering background is a plusUse your skills to make an impactWhy Humana?You'll experience the following perks as a full-time Humana employee:Humana offers a variety of benefits to promote the best health and well-being of our employees and their families.
